My name is Mya, also known as @myasymi — I’m an artist and teacher who’s been drawing since I could hold a pencil.

Art has always been my favorite way to tell stories and connect with people. I love designing characters that feel full of life — expressive, emotional, and inclusive — often blending cartoon and anime influences with cultural inspiration from my own background and the world around me.
